About Edna
Edna is our much loved family pet. She is a 2 year old Irish Terrier bitch who has brought much joy to our lives. We bred Edna ourselves, selecting her from Nellie's final litter, in order to be able to keep the line. Her father is Holbam's Celtic Wizzard, aka Freddie, who was a Junior Warrant winner at the time of siring and has continued to have a successful show career.

Having the strong Irish Terrier trait of recklessness, Edna has had more than her fair share of mishaps! From being charged by a field of cows when only 6 months old, through to putting her paw through a pane of glass in pursuit of a pigeon, she is no stranger to the vets and the consequent cone of shame! The silver lining is how affectionate and cuddly she has become having had a significant amount of time being made a fuss of!

Growing up with her mum brought challenges (or maybe having 2 dogs is harder than we expected?!) Edna is very different to Nellie though she has the same strong will and love of her food! She is also incredibly sweet natured and loving, very sociable and full of fun. Like her mum she is eager to please and always wants to be at the center of everything we do.

Edna is now having her first litter! She was mated with Parkin in September, and we are delighted to now confirm her pregnancy! Parkin is Montelle Flash Light to Lionwood and also 2 years old. He was a very friendly and bouncy dog when we met. Edna took an immediate shine to him! He has been successful in the show ring for the Montelle Kennel and is in his first year as a stud dog.
